Community Directions and Key Themes - We have looked at the results from all of our activities so far and have put together this document. This is the first step in developing a vision for the future of our City region, It will continue to change over time as we talk more and more with the community and get a better idea of where we want to head. CivicEvolution is an online program that allows you to submit your idea on how the City can become more sustainable into the future. The program then helps you to find other people who like your idea so that you can form an idea team. CivicEvoluion will then help your team to develop a brief proposal. The Governance Alliance Group has commited to review every single proposal that comes through CivicEvolution. That means that if your team puts a little bit of work into developing your proposal it will be put in front of the people who make decisions. Go to 2029.civicevolution.org

It's not to late to volunteer to become a Community Champion. As a Community Champion you will play a key role in shaping the future of your region. This will include accessing and talking with people in your community about issues that matter to them. You will be empowered with new skills in facilitation, coordination and community engagement techniques, important for the 2029 and Beyond project.
